I went to Visions du Reel in Nyon, Switzerland this year for the first time.

Babez, let me tell you, it is by far the best festival for documentaries, bar none. Packed audiences, great cheese (with spring garlic in it!), films that largely were made for sub $500k and look and feel better than EVERYTHING I have seen in the US landscape. I felt…inspired AN…
